Work sustainably with our open pool
The open pool for EPAL Euro pallets and box pallets is the largest in the world. More than 600 million Euro pallets and 20 million box pallets are in circulation in the European Union in the open exchange pool. As a Europe-wide circular exchange system, the open pool is already sustainable. The more participants the pool has, the more efficient it becomes because the distance to the next exchange partner or one of our PAKi Spots becomes that much shorter. All participants benefit because they can exchange load carriers flexibly and cost-efficiently with one another.
Empty kilometres and saving CO2
If you can exchange load carriers anywhere in Europe, you no longer need to drive them back and forth. Empty runs become unnecessary because you can pick up or order your pallets and boxes at the closest PAKi Spot. And if you no longer need them, you can simply drop them off at the next Spot or we’ll pick them up for you. That cuts CO2 emissions, and you can work more sustainably thanks to pooling.
Less admin, less paperwork
Pooling saves time and paper! Open pooling of load carriers greatly simplifies the administration of load-carrier movements. In your PAKi online account, you can quickly and easily manage your pallet credits and debts. Tedious paperwork and constantly transferring account balances is now a thing of the past. Interfaces allow you to synchronise data in real time. Digital documents like our PAKi e-Voucher digital pallet note or the digital inspection note for pooling via the Drop & Drive app accelerate processes and eliminate the need for paper documents. With the PAKi e-Voucher, exchanging load carriers like pallets and boxes is up to 50% more efficient – meaning your work is much more sustainable, both in the office and on the ramp.
