The PAKi e-Voucher is materialfluss Product of the Year
25 March 2021Several thousand readers of materialfluss have voted and placed the e-Voucher from PAKi Logistics to the first place of the PRODUCTS OF THE YEAR 2021 in the category logistics. In the second edition of the readers' award from materialfluss, the trade medium for intralogistics and logistics, the advantages of the e-Voucher convinced the readers' jury.
"We are very pleased about this award, which also confirms the success of the PAKi e-Voucher from the point of view of the readership of materialfluss," says David Mayo, COO of PAKi Logistics. "The fact that the digitalisation of logistics processes, which we are constantly advancing in our product portfolio, is finding a high demand in the market is shown, among other things, by the fact that the amount of e-vouchers used tripled in 2020 compared to 2019."
The PAKi e-Voucher is particularly interesting for trading companies and logistics companies that need to organise flows of goods across Europe, as it is available in 22 EU countries - an offer that no one else in the open pool can provide. The digital pallet note works paperless and is transferable, which can speed up processes by up to 50 per cent. It saves companies high expenses for personnel and materials and offers maximum transparency for all pallet liabilities around the clock. Real-time crediting eliminates the need for printouts, transfers and processing of pallet notes, so that administration can be shortened by ten minutes at the ramp, for example. Pallet note losses are also no longer possible with the paperless transfer.

If the original pallet note functions like a cheque, the e-voucher can be thought of as a real-time bank transfer. "But for us, digitalisation also means not standing still, but constantly developing the product further, for example to make data recording and transfers even more convenient and faster."
The benefit of the PAKi e-voucher lies primarily in the combination of online-based pallet management and comprehensive availability of load carriers throughout Europe. To be able to issue, redeem or forward the digital pallet vouchers to third parties, one simply opens an account with PAKi Logistics. If, for example, a forwarder then delivers goods to the commercial warehouse, he can ask for an e-voucher there and the voucher is issued directly on site via the online tool. The quantity of euro pallets provided is credited immediately. Pallets of the desired quality can then be called up from the pallet credit at any time as needed.
